In this lesson, you’ll learn how different shapes move through air and water. We’ll explore how animals are shaped to move easily in these environments, and see how humans have built tools to copy them. You’ll race different shapes in water to see which one is the fastest, and you’ll also get to make some parachutes to see which designs move the slowest.
What you’ll learn:
- What fluid resistance is.
- How different shapes are affected by fluid resistance.
