In this lesson, you’ll learn about an invisible force called friction that slows things down. We’ll start by looking at some of the fastest slides in the world and racing down two different slides. Then you’ll get to test some different materials to see which ones create the most friction on a slide. After that, you’ll identify high and low friction scenarios in real life and figure out how steep a slide needs to be to overcome friction.
What you’ll learn:
- Friction is a force that slows things down.
- Friction happens when two things slide past each other.
