In this lesson, you’ll learn about the two main systems that help your body move: your muscles and your bones. We’ll start by observing the places where bones meet, called joints, and see how some people are more flexible than others. Then you’ll learn which muscles control different movements, and try to guess which ones you’re using when you do things like kick a soccer ball or drink a glass of juice.

We’ll also dissect a chicken wing to see how a real muscle connects to a bone and creates movement. You’ll get to label the major muscles and bones in your body too!

What you’ll learn:

  • How your musculoskeletal system moves your body
  • Names of major muscles and bones
