Materials

Magnet
Metal objects (paperclip, magnetic marbles, etc.)
Non-metal objects (toothpick, balloon, etc.)

You will also want to print the following data table to record your experiment findings:

Procedure

Gather different objects you would like to test with your magnet (ask an adult before testing objects from your workspace – magnets can sometimes mess up electronics!)
Test each object by putting the magnet next to it, and record your findings in the table.
